Los Angeles, CA — The girl that stole our eyes in ‘Flight’ and made us laugh in ‘My Friend Earl’, 'The League', and 'Real Husbands of Hollywood' created by Kevin Hart, still has our full attention and our stomachs rolling on the floor, in the fourth season pilot of ‘THE EXES’ now online. CLICK NOW TO SEE.
The execs at TV LAND channel and Creator, Mark Reisman, set the tone for the season by playing Nadine Velazquez opposite Donald Falson known for ‘SCRUBS’ that everyone likes. The Puerto Rican actress plays Falson’s crush from High School who indirectly sets himself up with her on a date from Facebook. The hats must come off to Mark Reisman as these two characters are brilliantly written and perfectly casted.
"What is the baby doing crying? WAKE YOUR GRANDMAW UP, I'M ON A DATE."
Her character, Alessandra, is a mother of at least four children. She goes on a date with Phil, Falson’s character, and does not want to be bothered by a phone call from one of her children concerning one twin beating the other with a bat, while the baby cries. Nor is she amused by a call with her ex-husband. And as the call heats up with her ‘ex’, she insists that Phil get on the phone and tell her non alimony paying, out of prison ex husband, that he is going to kick his ass. Alessandra's character is guaranteed to make you laugh.
"Tell him you will kick his ass, PHIL! I SAID, TELL HIM!!!"
As the pilot goes, Phil was able to get away from Alessandra this time. But hopefully, we will see more of her soon.
